Aircraft Spins Out of Control into Palm Trees at Frequented California Coast
An aircraft flying over a popular California beach suddenly commenced twirling uncontrollably, eventually dropping height and crashing into a line of palm groves as beachgoers looked on.
Recordings posted on the internet show the chopper beginning to twirl above Huntington Beach then falling towards the perimeter of the beach, where it gets stuck between palm groves and a steps adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.
First Aid Information
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five persons were taken to hospital involving two who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” after the incident on the weekend.
Three individuals on the road were injured. Specifics on their injuries were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was not yet disclosed.
