The Prince of Wales Set to Attend UN Climate Conference in South America

The Prince of Wales is scheduled to attend the COP30 climate summit in South America in the coming weeks, according to the royal household.

Prince William and King Charles made a joint appearance on Thursday night at a reception leading up to the climate summit, which is planned for in the northern Brazilian city of Belem.

The King and Prince were participating in the museum gathering, marking an unusual joint appearance at a climate summit preparatory event arranged together with the United Kingdom administration.

Climate Leadership Dedication

King Charles has been a consistent supporter of biodiversity preservation - and Prince William has taken on the baton, with his own environmental prize initiative, which will be taking place in South America preceding the climate conference.

Official representatives have characterized Prince William's attendance at the forthcoming conference as taking on an crucial position in "environmental negotiations".
