Two Men Charged for Prison Murder of Lostprophets Singer Ian Watkins
A pair of suspects stand accused of murder in the wake of the incarceration fatality of former Lostprophets singer and adjudicated child sex criminal Ian Watkins.
The two men, Rashid Gedel (25) and Samuel Dodsworth (43) have both been charged with murder and are scheduled to appear in Leeds magistrates’ court on Monday morning, as stated by investigating officers.
Watkins, forty-eight, was undergoing a 29-year incarceration at HMP Wakefield, alongside six more years under supervision, after confessing to numerous sex crimes among them the tried rape of a very young child.
Watkins was apprehended subsequent to a narcotics search warrant at his Pontypridd home on 21 September 2012, when a substantial collection of electronic devices including computers, phones and drives were seized.
